Montgomery County Airpark (GAI) is a public, general use airport located approximately three miles NE of Gaithersburg, MD, and approximately 20 miles NW of downtown Washington, DC.

GAI is located on the edge of the Washington, DC SFRA, so familiarity with the correct procedures is REQUIRED. Navigating within the SFRA is not tough, and it is something one of our many instructors can help you learn (after you read the NOTAM of course).
